With the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta now live on PlayStation 4 in Early Access, players have the ability to pick from two Factions to play from, and each Faction has a set of Operators to pick from.

As mentioned before, Operators only feature Cosmetic differences through cosmetic looks and voice lines. They have no special abilities.

With the beta just starting, here’s the Operators you can currently access in each Faction:

• Coalition faction can unlock and choose Operators from SAS, Warcom, and Demon Dogs special forces.
• Allegiance faction can obtain and pick Operators from Spetsnaz, Jackals, and Chimera special forces.

A glitch in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta for some users appears to showcase that Supply Drops are currently in the works to return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

YouTuber NerosCinema posted an image to his Twitter showcasing the After Action Report in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare after a match that showed what he unlocked for leveling up:

Infinity Ward has stated that they have “heard” fans in regards to details on the microtransaction system in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and that more will be talked about “when we’re ready.”

Launch of the game is set for October 25, and Call of Duty Points are already confirmed to be part of the game. In the past, the MTX systems are not added till a few weeks after launch.

The settings of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta will let users pick if they want to be part of the Cross Play testing when the Cross Play beta goes live for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The first weekend of the Modern Warfare Beta is exclusive to PlayStation 4, starting now through September 16 at 10AM PT.

But the second weekend, which kicks off September 19 at 10AM PT, will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. And the second weekend will have Cross Play between all the platforms available.

Infinity Ward will be sharing more information on how Cross Play will work in Modern Warfare and the beta ahead of the Sept. 19 start date, but the settings in the PS4 version of Modern Warfare gives us just a brief first info on how the Cross Play beta testing will work.

Players will be allowed two options: enable or disable Cross Play functionality.

• Disabled: Matchmaking only uses your current gaming platform.
• Enabled: Allow matchmaking with other gaming platforms.

As noted during the Alpha, Infinity Ward will be using Activision and Call of Duty Profile to match friends across all three platforms. You can add friends using Activision user names, so if you want to participate in the Cross Play testing, ensure that you have linked your PSN, XBL, or Battle.net account to your Call of Duty profile.

The AR Snapchat Code that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that Activision sent out to us (and many other creators) has been updated today revealing a first look at a never before seen Operator in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The image reveals the new Operator called Minotaur. He is from Russia and part of the Spetsnaz faction.

Many fans have been sitting around waiting for Infinity Ward to activate the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Early Access Beta servers on PS4, but for those holding out hope, it does not look like anything is happening (Sept. 10) today.

Infinity Ward dev has stated on Reddit that it’s not happening today and people can have a ‘productive day’ today.

The official start time for the Beta is Thursday, September 12 at 10AM Pacific / 1PM Eastern for PS4 Early Access.

Activision, Mountain Dew, and Doritos have announced a partnership to celebrate the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The partnership kicks off this weekend with the Pro Am tournament for the game with the beta.

Then in October, Mountain Dew bottles, Game Fuel cans, and Doritos packs will have 2XP codes for Modern Warfare.
