Modern Warfare PS4 Beta Servers will NOT be going live on Sept. 10

Many fans have been sitting around waiting for Infinity Ward to activate the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Early Access Beta servers on PS4, but for those holding out hope, it does not look like anything is happening (Sept. 10) today.

Infinity Ward dev has stated on Reddit that it’s not happening today and people can have a ‘productive day’ today.

Here’s the comment on Reddit:

not today. i hope you all have a wonderful, productive day.

The official start time for the Beta is Thursday, September 12 at 10AM Pacific / 1PM Eastern for PS4 Early Access.

With tomorrow being Wednesday, September 11, the chance of the Beta going live on that day is slim to none out of respect for the day and its history.

Activision, Mountain Dew, and Doritos have announced a partnership to celebrate the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The partnership kicks off this weekend with the Pro Am tournament for the game with the beta.

Then in October, Mountain Dew bottles, Game Fuel cans, and Doritos packs will have 2XP codes for Modern Warfare.

Here’s the press release announcement:

Bravo six, going dark. MTN DEW, MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL and DORITOS today are joining forces with Activision’s celebrated Call of Dutyfranchise, in time for the highly anticipated release of Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare®. As part of the groundbreaking program, players will be able to unlock in-game rewards inside Modern Warfare with the purchase of any participating MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL, MTN DEW or DORITOS products, simply by entering unique codes found on the packaging. This special pre-release exhibition pairs gaming professionals with celebrities in an adrenaline-inducing experience that highlights the new 2v2 game mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

“We’re thrilled to join forces with Activision just ahead of the hugely anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare release,” said Erin Chin, Senior Director, Marketing, Mountain Dew and MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL. “We put a stake in the ground when we launched Game Fuel last year, and we’re excited to continue delivering one-of-a-kind experiences, like this month’s PRO-AM with Modern Warfare – sure to be one of the most exciting games of the year.”

“This dynamic collaboration is a best-in-class example of the power of PepsiCo’s food and beverage portfolio coming to life for consumers on one of the world’s largest stages,” said Leslie Vesper, Senior Director, Marketing, Doritos. “Doritos and DEW are known for providing players with unique ways to access exclusive gaming experiences, and now we’re taking this to a new level by working closely with Activision for Modern Warfare.”

Published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is scheduled for global release Oct. 25. The game delivers an epic re-imagining of one of the most iconic and thrilling video game properties in history, Modern Warfare.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Length Is What You Would Expect

Activision’s big new Call of Duty game, the Modern Warfare reboot, launches in October. It’s poised to be one of 2019’s biggest games. But how long will it take to beat?

As with pretty much all games, the way you play will determine how long it takes to beat. That’s also true for Modern Warfare, studio narrative director Taylor Kurosaki told Game Informer. That being said, Kurosaki said players can expect Modern Warfare’s campaign length to be “in line” with what players would expect from a Call of Duty game.

“It varies greatly,” Kurosaki said. “The length of this campaign is exactly in line with the lengths of what you would expect in a contemporary Call of Duty campaign.”

Campaign is just one element of the new Modern Warfare. The game also features multiplayer, which adds the large-scale Ground War mode this year, along with a Spec Ops co-op mode. The game doesn’t feature a Zombies mode, and there are no current plans for battle royale.

The new Modern Warfare launches on October 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In a big change for the series, there will be cross-play multiplayer support between competing consoles.

Early access to the upcoming multiplayer beta for Modern Warfare begins September 12 on PS4, while the open beta starts September 14 on Sony’s system before it extends to Xbox One and PC at some point later on.

Infinity Ward says the Nuke was in Modern Warfare MP Event Build

Infinity Ward’s Art Director Joel Emslie has revealed an interesting detail about the Nuke in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The studio teased the return of the Nuke at the end of the Modern Warfare MP Reveal event trailer, as fans got to see it drop in and take out the map.

Now, Infinity Ward Art Director has stated that the Nuke was actually available to earn in the build of the game that was playable in Los Angeles during the MP Reveal Event on August 1, but no one figured it out.

It was in the build that everyone was playing at the MP reveal but no one figured it out.

There’s no indication if it’ll be in the Beta yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
