Following the newest patch update for Call of Duty: Warzone on May 19, Infinity Ward has added in the ability to open some of the vaults/bunkers across the map using Key Cards to enter.
Users have been able to get into new locations on the map now, and found new loot boxes, areas to get more items, and more teasers as Season 4 of Modern Warfare approaches in early June.
Users have also found telephones inside the new bunkers which ring and a Russian voice speaks with morse code in the bunkers:
The voice translates to:
“All forces, the base is captured! Change the encryption!” “Right away!” “Roger.” “…They’re getting closer!”
Inside the bunker, users have also found a Nuke sitting in its case (via @ModernWarzone).
If you are looking to open the bunker yourself, you just have to find an Access Key Card, head to a bunker, and press the button to interact with the opening key pad.
Infinity Ward is releasing the latest update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 18th at 11PM Pacific // May 19 at 2AM Eastern.
This new update is patch update 1.21 and is 20.2GB on PS4, 31GB on Xbox One, and is 30GB (if you own Modern Warfare) or 26.1GB (if you only own Warzone) on PC.
In Modern Warfare MP, new map Hardhat is available alongside the new Gunfight map, Aisle 9.
In Warzone, players can find new features including the Armor Box, which lets you resupply armor similar to the Munitions Box. There is also new weapons to find in the Gulag, allowing for more variety. New LTM now live is Classic BR, which has no Buy Stations, no Gulag, and no Contracts.

Activision Blog has posted the latest This Week in Call of Duty post highlighting what players can expect in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone.
This week sees a new update for Modern Warfare and Warzone. In Warzone, players will find a new Armor Box – similar to the Munitions Box – where a player can drop this and provide armor for your team. There will also be a new selection of weapons and loadouts in the Gulag, to keep things fresh.
In Modern Warfare, new MP maps Hardhat (6v6) and Aisle-9 (Gunfight) debut in-game, free for everyone.
This week will also see new store bundles including the Ghost Contingency Pack!
Activision has also announced the latest Live From Warzone events featuring many different streams and more this week for fans to watch throughout the week on both YouTube and Twitch.

This week in Modern Warfare play a new Multiplayer map Hardhat, experience a new Gunfight battleground Aisle 9, collect the Cash as Blood Money Quads returns to Warzone, pick up a new classic look for Ghost in Store, and more.
Operator Ghost in the ‘Classic Ghost’ skin, available in the Ghost Pack Contingency bundle
The ‘Ghost Pack Contingency’ bundle arrives to the store this week featuring two weapon blueprints including a Legendary assault rifle and a new skin that gives a Ghost a look that veterans will remember. The bundle includes 10 ghostly items, so you can customize your identity from your Operator to your emblem. Find the ‘Ghost Pack Contingency’ bundle in Store and take this look into the battlefield of Modern Warfare including Warzone.
Hardhat, a Multiplayer map at the scene of construction site, is now available in its own 24/7 playlist. This map, first seen in Modern Warfare® 3, is a haven for close quarters, fast-paced, and frenetic combat, but also features some longer sightlines, so a variety of loadout types can find success. Re-experience Hardhat or jump in for the first time to learn the ins and outs of the map, and hopefully achieve victory in your next match.
Aisle 9, the latest Gunfight map, is available in its own unique playlist – ‘Clean Up on Aisle 9’. The 3v3 playlist will host TDM, Kill Confirmed, Grind, and Domination, so players can discover multiple ways to fight on this small map. Aisle 9 will also be playable in the Gunfight map rotation, so stock up for a fight.
Blood Money Quads drops back into Verdansk, so players can expand their trio. Find your fourth and get to collecting Cash, completing Contracts, and of course eliminating opponents to end up on top in Blood Money.
Two updates have arrived in Warzone – a change to Gulag weapons and a new item.
First, players will now find SMGs and assault rifles in the Gulag. While you can still receive a shotgun or pistol, be aware that different weapon classes are now being handed out in this fight for your life. The new weapon choices include the AK-47, M13, Kilo 141, Ram-7, Striker 45, and more. SMGs and assault rifle both expand the range of engagements in the Gulag, so be careful if you decide to rush your opponent.
The Armor Box is a new item available in all modes in Warzone. Similar to a Munitions Box, this item can be used by the entire team to replenish their armor before or after an engagement. Find the Armor Box in ground loot, Supply Boxes, or purchase it at a Buy Station to make sure you’re protected before you get into a battle.
Brush up on the fundamentals in a new limited-time mode – Classic Battle Royale. This mode strips down Battle Royale and features no Buy Stations, no Contracts, and no Gulag. If you’re out, you’re out. Survive the enemies and the ever-collapsing circle to be the last team standing.

Infinity Ward and Raven Software have released a new game settings update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone.
The Game Settings Update is live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC now.
New Warzone Mode – BR Stimulus Solos:
In Call of Duty: Warzone, the studio has added in a new mode, which replaces Solos, called Stimulus.
In the new Stimulus mode, the Gulag is disabled. Players can return to the match if they have enough cash on them when they die.
When a player dies, they will parachute back into the fight if they have enough cash on them. The Gulag is disabled.
Every player in this mode starts with 4500 Cash on them. If you do not have enough cash when you die, you will not be allowed to spawn back in. When you die, you also drop 50% of your cash. The respawn mechanic is disabled in the second to last circle.
Jump into Warzone now and try out the new Stimulus mode.

Infinity Ward has released a new in-game update for Modern Warfare and Warzone on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The update has brought changes to the .357 Snake shot, amongst other fixes.

Tuning all smoke challenges to be a bit more forgiving. This includes the challenge to unlock the Bruen MK9

Reduced fire delay on the Lightweight and Match Grade trigger attachments on all .357 calibers
.357 Snake Shot damage rebalance
Fixed a bug where the damage on the .357 Snake Shot was too high at longer distances
Players have been complaining about how overpowered the akimbo .357 snake shots were in both MP and Warzone, and many players were using this OP setup in game. Infinity Ward has now made some adjustments, so let’s hope it is tuned better in the overall game.
UPDATE – May 6 at 5:30PM ET: Issues with the Modern Warfare and Warzone servers should be resolved.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone servers are currently experiencing issues on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Many users are being met with an Error alert for the game’s servers when attempting to log in, and some were kicked out of their game for the message. There is also an issue with Connection Failed notification.
The message is putting users into a server queue to get back into the action, and it’s taking an extended period to get players back into the action.
If you experience issues, try restarting your game or console in order to get back in and wait on the menu main. The server queue should let you back into the action within a few minutes or so.
At the time of this writing (4:28PM ET), official website status pages have not been updated to identity any issues.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone servers have been experiencing many issues over the last few weeks with matchmaking issues and more as many players are online due to stay at home orders and lifestyle recently. Infinity Ward is working to address the issues ASAP for all players.
So…there is a way that fans have discovered to get access to the Anime Skin Bundle and the new Operator – Iskra – bundle in-game in Modern Warfare and Warzone.
The Anime Weapon Skin bundle was set to release on May 5, but did not appear on the store. Fans however have found a way to see and purchase this bundle to use in Modern Warfare and Warzone.
Same with Iskra Bundle: there is no confirmed release date for this bundle, but fans can get access and purchase this Operator bundle now.

Activision Blizzard has announced that the company has generated over $956 million in revenue from microtransactions in Q1 2020, meaning January – March.
The number highlights the success of the in-game content in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the release of Call of Duty: Warzone.
“Our goal to connect the world through epic entertainment is more important to our players than ever before,” said Bobby Kotick, Chief Executive Officer of Activision Blizzard. “We delivered strong financial results for the first quarter, and are raising our full year outlook. In-game net bookings were $956 million, as compared with $794 million for the first quarter of 2019.
Activision Blizzard also says that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, from launch to date, has now sold more copies and has more players online than any other Call of Duty title to date.
The company also revealed that Call of Duty: Warzone is now at 60 million players to date, since its launch on March 11, 2020. Activision says in-game content revenue doubled year over year in Modern Warfare compared to Black Ops 4 in Q1 2019.
Activision had 102 million MAUsD in the first quarter.
Call of Duty: Warzone launched on March 10, 2020 and has reached over 60 million players to date.
Life-to-date, Modern Warfare has sold through more units and has more players than any prior Call of Duty title at this point after its release.
In the first quarter, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare® unit sell-through was the highest for the franchise outside of a launch quarter. Following substantial year-over-year growth versus the prior title in January and February, unit sell-through accelerated in March, driven by upgrades from Warzone as well as rising demand amidst shelter-at-home conditions.
Also in the first quarter, Modern Warfare in-game net bookings more than doubled year-over-year versus Black Ops 4.
Activision also highlighted that Call of Duty: Mobile continues to see success:
