The tournament format of the Call of Duty League Championship will now feature all 12 teams, as opposed to the original eight-team structure, opening the door to potential upsets and Cinderella runs!Home Series victories now mean more than ever, with League standings being the determining factor on a team’s starting position in the final tournament of the year. 1st and 2nd placed teams in the CDL Standings, for example, will automatically skip the first two rounds of the event’s Winner’s Bracket. The better a team’s regular season record, the closer they get to the illustrious Grand Final. The double-elimination tournament will take place in August 2020.
