While November 23 marks the end of the Season 6 Battle Pass in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, fans have been wondering about new content for the title.
There has been no official news on what’s next in terms of content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare after Warzone’s integration with Black Ops Cold War.
The confirmation we have so far is that Modern Warfare will receive a new progression system to match the new system in Black Ops Cold War starting on December 10. Fans can learn more about the Progression system in a detailed blog post.
Now, an Infinity Ward developer has confirmed on Twitter that there is more content planned for Modern Warfare. He says that he’s not aware of the ‘official name’ of the new content, but more is coming.
There is more content coming. I just don’t know the official name of it. Hope some info gets released soon so people know what’s going on.
It’s not clear at this time what the new content will be for Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare continues to be a very popular Call of Duty game, selling over 30 million copies in its first year. Activision has not outlined future plans for the game itself.
Season 6’s Battle Pass officially ended in Modern Warfare & Warzone on November 23. The pass reset timer says 0seconds left.
Warzone will officially be tied to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s system starting on December 10 with a new Classified Experience. Players playing Modern Warfare MP can continue to level up their overall player rank and access the Seasonal Prestige system. They can also contribute toward’s ranking up the Black Ops Cold War & Warzone Battle Pass, but content unlocked is only usable in Black Ops cold War & Warzone.

Infinity Ward is releasing a new patch update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone on Wednesday, October 14.
Select group of PlayStation 4 players can now pre-load the update ahead of its release. All PS4 players will be able to pre-load it soon. The new update is version 1.28 and clocks in at around 9GB. The size may vary by region. Pre-loading is not available on Xbox One or PC for this update.
The update is set to release on Tuesday, October 13 at 11PM PT / Wednesday, October 14 at 2AM ET.
There is no information yet from Infinity Ward on what this new patch update is set to bring.
The next major event as part of Season 6 for Modern Warfare and Warzone is The Haunting Event, which begins on October 20. The Haunting introduces a night time map for Warzone, alongside new Halloween themed modes for the game. More information on this event is set to come soon.
Season 6 of Modern Warfare & Warzone began on September 29 with a new Subway system in Warzone, alongside MP content.

One year later, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Special Ops Survival Mode is now available on all platforms.
Special Ops Survival mode for Modern Warfare was first announced back in September 2019 as a bonus mode available exclusively for PlayStation 4. The mode was part of the Activision and Sony contract agreement as Sony advertises “PlayStation advantages” for PS4.
When the mode was announced, PlayStation said it would be a timed exclusive content until October 1, 2020.
Now, Infinity Ward has released an in game update on all platforms to enable this mode for all players.
For players on PS4 and Xbox One, an additional Survival Compatibility Pack download is needed in order to access this mode. Players can get promoted to download this Pack by going to Co-Op, and then pressing Survival.

In addition, there’s also a variety of other PlayStation exclusive content that has been released for both Modern Warfare & Warzone, including Warzone Combat Packs, Weapon Mission Challenges, and more. These items had a timed exclusive date of October 1, 2020 as well.
Activision partnership with PlayStation continues for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The game’s beta is available first on PS4, and Sony is advertising the title as a PS5 launch game. No announcements about a PlayStation exclusivity content has been made at this time for the new game.
Following the newest update for Modern Warfare, which started Season 6, many PlayStation 4 users are experiencing issues playing the game.
With the recently update, PlayStation 4 players are getting a crash blue screen while playing matches of Modern Warfare MP. Some PC players are also experiencing issues.
PS4 players are seeing CE-34878-0 PS4 Error Code throughout their time playing Modern Warfare or Warzone after the recent update.
The blue screen issue started to happen after the Season 6 update, which went live on Sept. 28 at 11PM PT.
Activision has now confirmed they are aware of the issue.

PlayStation Blog has announced the latest batch of exclusive content for PlayStation users in Modern Warfare and Warzone.
Activision has confirmed that Modern Warfare’s Survival mode officially arrives on Xbox One and PC on October 1, 2020, but PlayStation gets a bonus Combat Pack exclusively for Season 6.
Survival mode gets an update with a new map: Hovec Sawmill. This map is only on PS4 until October 1, 2020.
In addition, there’s a Warzone Season Six Combat Pack available only on PS4. The Warzone Season 6 Combat Pack is a timed PlayStation exclusive until December 1, 2020.

A sniper designed for players who lock down lanes in Multiplayer and can eliminate squads escaping the circle collapse in Warzone. The blueprint is earned in a five-step mission set, found in Missions, that requires use of multiple weapon classes and in-match skills. The weapon has a shorter barrel that other sniper rifles but can still go the distance thanks to a quality scope. Build a complete loadout with an agile and strong-secondary like the GS or Renetti and perks that help you withstand damage like Battle Hardened and EOD until the job is done.

Activision has officially announced that Modern Warfare’s Survival mode, which launched on PlayStation only, is now coming to all platforms.
Survival mode will officially be available starting October 1, 2020 on Xbox One and PC.
Activision announced the news part of the Season 6 Blog Post, which states that Xbox One players will need to download an additional compatibility pack to play Survival upon it’s release on October 1.
Here’s the additional compatibility pack needed for Survival access on PS4 and Xbox. PC players will not need a pack, as it is part of the overall update.

Note that on October 1, Xbox and PC players can access the Survival mode.
Survival mode launched back with Modern Warfare on October 25, 2019 exclusively on PlayStation 4. The mode was a “timed exclusive” mode for 1 year, with exclusivity ending on October 1, 2020.
With the launch of Season 6 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone comes a brand new Battle Pass for players to pick up and level through.
The new Battle Pass includes two new free weapons: the SP-R208 marksman rifle (Tier 15) and the AS-VAL assault rifle (Tier 31).
Alongside the new weapons, players who purchase the Battle Pass will get a brand new Operator for the Season immediately, alongside a new Operator Nikolai at Tier 100.
Similar to Season pass seasons, there are two tracks: the free and Premium track. Free track will include 20 tiers of content, including the two new weapons. The Premium track introduces new War Tracks, Operator Skins, Blueprints, and more for fans to unlock.

Across numerous free Tiers, players can unlock multiple new songs to be used as War Tracks, songs that play while driving vehicles in Warzone and Modern Warfare.
With these new tracks, you can blow out your speakers or even throw on music from previous Call of Duty games (Modern Warfare and Black Ops series) for a heavy dose of nostalgia that could complement an intense Battle Royale match.

Like a Horn or Vehicle Skin, War Tracks can be equipped to specific vehicles within the Vehicle Customization menu. Once in-game, hop into that specific vehicle as its driver and you, as well as all passengers onboard, can listen as the squad cruises to potential victory.
